Leroy Sane Picks Up PFA Young Player Of The Year Award

Germany international Leroy Sane has been named the PFA Young Player of the Year following his efforts for Manchester City over the course of the 2017/18 season. The left-sided winger has contributed nine goals and a further 12 assists for the Citizens, who claimed the Premier League crown earlier in the month.

Sane could not attend the awards ceremony due to his commitments with Manchester City, but he left a message via video link saying: “I am really honoured to win this award.
