LOW WAITING FOR BALLACK
Joachim Low says that he is waiting for Michael Ballack to return from injury and will take over as captain duties with the national team. Michael Ballack, 34 years old and missed the World Cup through injury, could return after the Christmas break in a decisive match against Borussia Dortmund, Bundesliga leaders, reported Leverkusen. The footballer low in September caused by a left shin injury, previously gave the captain badge combined Teutonic Philipp Lahm by another injury in his right calf muscle.
So Ballack has had a year to forget. After completing the contract with Chelsea found a place in German football but just before the World Cup in South Africa calf injury kept him out of the fair and when he recovered was one that keeps resource.
Ballack may have a new team-mate at his club soon, with Leverkusen linked to both Edwin van der Sar and Jonny Evans in the January transfer window.
